The singer of the metal band Brujería has died at the age of 61 due to a heart attack during his Mexorcista tour in the United States.

John Lepe, better known as Juan Brujo, the leader of the metal band Brujería, has died prematurely after suffering a heart attack at the age of 61. The heart attack occurred in the early hours of Monday in Ohio, United States , where the band was on their Mexorcista tour. Despite being rushed to the Wheeling hospital, the paramedics were unable to do anything to save his life and he died early Tuesday morning.

This is the second member to be lost from the band, following the death last July of Ciriaco Quezada, Pinche Peach , who also died of a heart condition. A curse that seems to be taking its toll on a group that surprised everyone after being formed in the late eighties in California.
